BRUNEI’S PREMIER KARTING SERIES
The AZKC is comprised of 5 teams vying for 5 possible trophies in 4 classes.
The Highest tier in the AZ Karting Championship; it comprises of Drivers progressing from the Senior Championship and is the best of the best drivers. Teams can only submit up to 3 drivers per season to represent them, and even then a strict pre-requisite is required for entry. The Apex Class is known for their relentless intensity and always delivers on closely fought battles between the top drivers in Brunei.
The 2nd Tier of Karting in AZKC is as competitive as any. It comprises of drivers as young as 15 vying to become the Senior Champion in hopes of automatically progressing into the Apex Championship. Expect newcomers and veterans alike mixing it up in this class to prove their skill on the track and a battle to become Rookie of the Year.
The Junior Championship is made up of the young talents primed for greatness; ages 11-17 are the ages where drivers should be considering a move into Motorsports outside of karting. Hungry and ambitious, these youngsters are some of the more aggressive drivers on track with hard racing but offers a camaraderie among drivers who share the same dream; to make it to the top.
A starting point for most drivers; for drivers aged 8-13, the drivers are the youngest possible entrants in Brunei with a less powered engine in place but offers the same excitement for these young cadets to compete in. A training ground for Cadets looking to join the bigger boys in the Junior ranks when they turn 11.
